SkateBIRD getting physical Switch release

Limited Run Games has just revealed the next Switch game they’re giving a physical release, and it’s none other than SkateBIRD. Pre-orders for this title are set to open on November 15th, 2022, and there will be variant covers available through Limited Run’s online store and Amazon.

This is a standard physical release for SkateBIRD, meaning you get a game card and a physical box. SkateBIRD will be priced at $35.

In SkateBIRD, you’re a lonely lil’ bird, and your Big Friend has hung up their board for good. Their job sucks, and lately, they’re barely ever home to play with you. You’re gonna fix all that with the power of being a chill little skateboarding bird. You may be tiny, but the more you skate, the more following you get, the more the world of bird skating will open up. Birds will come check out your park, help you find more parks, and together you’ll (somehow) fix Big Friend’s life! Above all else, skate birds try their best!

For those interested, Limited Run Games will also be offering an actual SkateBIRD skateboard deck. There are just 150 of these to go around, and you can pick one up for $75. The deck is 8” wide, 31.875” long and has a 14” wheelbase.
