Nintendo says 106 million Switch owners have used their system in the 12 months

Following yesterday’s Q2 report on Fiscal Year 2023, Nintendo has shared a follow-up Corporate Management Policy Briefing that has shared some interesting tidbits.

Nintendo spoke about how active current Switch owners are, and it seems like the vast majority of those with Switch units are still playing the system. According to their latest stat, 106 million Switch owners have fired up their Switch at least once over the last 12-month period.

As you can see in the slide above, with each year that passes, this figure continues to climb. It would obviously be disappointing to see this number drop as time goes on, yet 5+ years after the Switch’s launch, players remain quite engaged.
