Developers have been going to great lengths in recent years to make sure players of all types can enjoy games with ease. This has resulted in all sorts of quality of life tweaks and accessibility features, and Sonic Frontiers is no different.

In an interview with Famitsu magazine, Sonic Frontiers Producer Sachiko Kawamura talked about the lengths the dev team went to in order to prevent players from getting motion sick. This all stemmed from the Q&A team members who struggled to play the game due to experiencing motion sickness.

I can only thank the Q&A team that tested the game. However, some of them were unable to play the game due to 3D motion sickness.. I thought it would be a shame if countermeasures were not taken, so this is something that we decided to take very seriously.. In the end, we prepared a lot of countermeasures to reduce the amount of 3D motion sickness.
