Pikmin Bloom's 1st Anniversary "Pikmin 3 Deluxe Event" reward available early

Nintendo and Niantic are celebrating Pikmin Bloom’s first anniversary with a variety of special events (which you can see in more detail here). One of them is a crossover with Pikmin 3 Deluxe that runs from November 15 (Tue) to December 9 (Fri) and, while we don’t know what exactly it is about or what’s included, we now have access to the event’s reward based on the console game:

That’s right! It’s a backpack for your Mii based on the Onions from Pikmin 3!

If you’d like to get it yourself, you have to own a copy of Pikmin 3 Deluxe and have save data attached to your Nintendo Account. If you have it, log into your MyNintendo account, go to Menu, then Point Summary, then Point History, and find a box that says “Reward redeemed for Pikmin 3 Onion Style Backpack Reward Code”.

After this, click on “Review your download code”, which then you’ll have to enter directly on the website. Finally, you’ll be able to get your shiny new Onion backpack.

It’s worth noting that we don’t know if this will be the only reward available throughout the event, so keep your eyes peeled for Tuesday, the official date for the information about the event to be revealed.
