Super Dungeon Maker freely available for university level Game Design students
Why wasn't school this fun when I was a kid?!
Developer Firechick and publisher rokaplay announced today that their level creator game Super Dungeon Maker is now freely available for academic purposes for all universities teaching level design. The game’s easy to use level creator has already been used in several universities across Europe and North America to teach students the ins and outs of level design.
Super Dungeon Maker is a creative dungeon creator inspired by the classic SNES Zelda, Super Mario Maker, Levelhead Platform Maker and other classic games. It offers a deep-level creator, over 1000 community-created dungeons full of enemies, secret rooms, traps, clever gameplay mechanics, and loot!
Earlier this month, Super Dungeon Maker was confirmed for Switch release following a successful Kickstarter campaign. We don’t have release date information at this time, but hopefully those details are shared soon.
