The DioField Chronicle getting a free content update in March 2023
The best is yet to come
SQUARE ENIX released the strategy role-playing game The DioField Chronicle back in September 2022, and today we learn they’re cooking up some extra content for the title. Best of all, you’ll be able to enjoy this content for free! You can check out a Japanese promo video for the free update above.
As the trailer indicates, this free update will be jam-packed with fresh content to enjoy. Here’s what we know will be included so far:

- Extra Mode with New Game+ and more
The DioField Chronicle features a deep and strategic “Real-Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB) system, where players and enemy troops move in real-time, and the tide of battle can change in an instant. The game is set in a unique world which features a gritty and immersive storyline that combines fantasy, medieval and modern elements.
