Pokémon Co. reveals Slowpoke 'bead sofa'

You name an opportunity for merch, the Pokémon Co. has created it. From food to toys, apparel to albums, Pokémon Co. has done it all. That merch push has certainly included some furniture in the past, but now Pokémon Co. has created what could be considered their pièce de résistance.

Pokémon Co. has shown off a Slowpoke bead sofa, which is obviously a must-have for anyone who’s into Pokémon home décor. This beast of a chair measures 920mm×1010mm×720mm, and will cost you roughly $200. I can’t decide if that’s a good or bad price for a piece of Slowpoke living room furniture.

Unfortunately, this item has only been announced for Japan at this time. That said, it seems very likely this item will make its way to the Pokémon Center website outside of Japan.
