Fans give Wario Land a Game Boy Color makeover
Remember Wario Land games?
For awhile there, Nintendo was cranking out Wario Land games, and they were absolutely excellent. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen a new Wario Land game, which might explain why fans are turning to the originals to breathe new life into them.
In the video above, you can check out the fan-made Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 DX. This project, taken on by Wario superfan Korxo, brings Wario Land to the Game Boy Color, much like the other DX Game Boy Color ports that Nintendo handled.
Other than an injection of color, the base game remains exactly the same. That’s totally fine by us, as it’s still a fantastic adventure decades later.
