Unlisted Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 'Booster Course Pass' commercial shows a different track order for Wave 3
Nintendo changes course
Just last week, Nintendo shared the announcement of what Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s third wave of Booster Course Pass content has to offer. Just in case you missed it or don’t remember, here’s the rundown.
ROCK CUP
- London Loop (Tour)
- Boo Lake (GBA)
- Rock Rock Mountain (3DS)
- Maple Treeway (Wii)
MOON CUP
- Berlin Byways (Tour)
- Peach Gardens (3DS)
- Merry Mountain (NEW)
- Rainbow Road (3DS)
Interestingly enough, Nintendo actually put together a promo video/commercial for Booster Course Pass: Wave 3, but it remains unlisted. You can actually see it at the top of this post, and giving it a watch should reveal why Nintendo hasn’t shared this spot publicly.
It appears Nintendo had a different plan for Booster Course Pass: Wave 3, as this video shows that Peach Gardens was meant to be in the Rock Cup, and Maple Treeway was planned for the Moon Cup. Even more interesting, this track order is closer to what dataminers discovered a few weeks back, so either Nintendo changed their mind since then for unknown reasons, or they shifted things to throw dataminers off the track!
