Bahasa Indonesia language support added to Pokémon GO, special events announced
Welcome, new trainers!
Niantic has announced that they’ve added Bahasa Indonesia language support to Pokémon GO. You can now set your in-game language to Bahasa Indonesia if you’d like.
To coincide with this, Niantic has also announced a series of events for Pokémon GO in Bahasa Indonesia. The fun runs from Nov. 30th, 2022 to Jan. 8th, 2023, and you can get the full breakdown below.
Field Research
You can complete Field Research tasks that award encounters with the following Pokémon.
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
Certain Field Research tasks will award Mega Energy!
- Venusaur Mega Energy
- Charizard Mega Energy
- Blastoise Mega Energy
In addition, certain other Field Research tasks will award Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle Candy!
Timed Research
Until January 8, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Trainers will be able to complete special Timed Research that will award items like a Star Piece, Rare Candy, and Super Incubator, as well as encounters with the following Pokémon.
- Lapras
- Snorlax
Trainers in Indonesia can also look forward to the following bonuses.
- 2× Hearts available when adventuring with your buddy
- 2× Catch XP
- Chance of daily surprise encounters when you take GO Snapshots!
- Limited-time boxes
For a limited time, Trainers in Indonesia can look forward to the following boxes in the in-game shop.
