Following the worldwide launch of Sonic Frontiers, and the release of the free Monster Hunter collaboration pack earlier this month, today, SEGA revealed plans for even more free content coming to the game.

The title’s 2023 content roadmap details plans for a series of future content updates to the new open-zone, action-packed adventure. These three content updates will include new features, modes, character skins and more. All three updates will be free to all Sonic Frontiers owners. Details on exact release timing and specifics about the content of each update will be revealed at a later date.

As you can see in the image up top, Update 1 will include a Juke Box, Photo Mode and New Challenge Modes. Update 2 will bring a Sonic Birthday Celebration, Open Zone Challenge and new Koco. Finally, Update 3 will feature new characters and story content.

Prior to these upcoming updates, on December 21, Sonic Frontiers players can download the free Holiday Cheer Suit DLC, which offers new apparel for Sonic to wear and bring some holiday spirit to the Starfall Islands.
