Let’s travel back to the year 2016, shall we? Game Freak, very much known as the Pokémon developer, decided to try out something new. That resulted in Pocket Card Jockey for 3DS, a combination of horse racing and solitaire. It was an odd pairing for sure, but somehow it worked, creating an addictive combo.

While Game Freak might have a lot on their mind right now thanks to Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, it seems like they are also planning a return to Pocket Card Jockey. According to a Japanese trademark (as discovered by Videogames Chronicles, Game Freak is working on Solitaire Horse: Ride On.

Now obviously, we don’t have any details on what this sequel has to offer or what platforms it’ll be available on. That said, it certainly seems a likely candidate for Switch release. Hopefully Game Freak will share some details on this project in the near future!
