You know a game is something special when people keep heaping praise on it years after it released. That’s been par for the course for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the latest name to sing the praises of Link’s last big adventure is quite a big one.

None other than Bethesda’s Todd Howard talked quite a bit about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the most recent episode of the Lex Fridman podcast. Howard knows quite a bit when it comes to open world games, and while he’s no doubt got a sweet spot for his own games, even he can recognize the greatness of Breath of the Wild.

Check out the spot above to hear Howard discuss the truly open nature of Breath of the Wild, and how Nintendo offered more freedom than some Bethesda titles!
