Easter eggs and more in the latest Super Mario Bros. movie clip

Last night at The Game Awards, Nintendo fans were treated to our first clip from the Super Mario Bros. animated movie. We had seen trailers and commercials before, but this was the first legit clip ripped straight from the film itself.

This clip in particular was stuffed to the gills with Mario-related references. From a litany of power-ups to plenty of musical nods, it’s clear the team involved with this project have taken their Mario lore very seriously!
