It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Project G.G., the all-new, all-original project from PlatinumGames. This project is being headed up by Hideki Kamiya, and according to a new interview with IGN Japan, Kamiya and crew are toiling away on the game as we speak.

According to Kamiya, Project G.G. is much bigger than The Wonderful 101: Remastered or Sol Cresta. As this is a large project, Platinum is currently looking into hiring the number of employees they have. As things stand right now, Platinum sits at roughly 300 staffers.

Kamiya says he’d like Platinum to be 500 member strong by 2025, but he doesn’t want to stop there. Kamiya envisioned a future where Platinum could house 1,000 different employees, but obviously, accruing that kind of manpower would be very far off from today.
