Netflix covers every New Yoke City shatter version in Sonic Prime
A lot to keep track of!
New Yoke City is the first world of The Shatterverse Sonic finds himself thrust into. At least his friends are all here! Too bad they have no idea who Sonic is! These New Yoke City characters are hardened by the brutal authoritarian control The Chaos Council has over the city. But just how different are these new takes on some of our favorite characters?
Sonic Prime is an animated adventure for kids, families, and long-time fans (1 x 40 minute episode, 7 x 20 minute episodes) that draws upon the keystones of the brand and features the “Blue Blur” of video game fame in a high-octane adventure where the fate of a strange new multiverse rests in his gloved hands. Sonic’s adventure is about more than a race to save the universe, it’s a journey of self-discovery and redemption.
Sonic Prime stars Canadian voice actor Deven Mack in the lead role, and is the work of WildBrain’s Vancouver studio, with Man of Action Entertainment (creator of Ben 10) showrunning and executive producing.
