Tails voice actor details how her performance differs between the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie and previous projects

Colleen O’Shaughnessey has been lending her voice talents to Tails for a long time now, playing the role in both games and animation. Now Colleen is taking on Tails for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which hits theaters on April 8th, 2022.
In an interview with GamesRadar, O’Shaughnessey explains the different approach she took with Tails in this upcoming film, versus her previous work.
I was given the script ahead of time [and] we did talk a little bit more about having more of a grounded performance, as opposed to something a little more heightened like we do for the video games. But I approached Tails the same way. And you have a different director, so the director is going to guide you where you need to go in whatever given situation.
