PlatinumGames is back with another installment in their Bayonetta 3 dev blog series. This time around, we get a look at how the team put together Bayonetta 3’s vast environments. You can see a video feature that goes along with this blog above.

This blog was written by Yasutaka Maeki from PlatinumGames, lead environment artist for Bayonetta 3. Maeki goes into detail on how the team tried to give the many locations Bayonetta visits a more realistic feeling. One method the devs used was with the signage dotted around, which shows off advertising, landmark details and more.

If you’d like to hear more about the many environments in Bayonetta 3, make sure to check out the full dev blog here.
