Built for all players
Masahiro Sakurai has released another video in his game development series, and this one slots into the user interface category. This time around, Sakurai shines a light on quality of life features.
Today’s episode is a bit like a Let’s Play, as Sakurai is providing running commentary as he go hands-on with a game. The game in question, The Last of Us: Part I, has some incredibly well-crafted accessibility settings Sakurai wanted to demonstrate for players.
Games have taken incredible strides in quality of life features in recent years, allowing for experiences that anyone can enjoy. It’s certainly a long-overdue approach, but it’s nice to see developers finally catch on!
