Nintendo and Fujifilm have teamed up a few times in the past for Instax Mini Link support, bringing about tie-ins with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario, and New Pokémon Snap. This collaboration let fans of those games use the Mini Link printer and app to customize game screenshots with themes and more from the franchises mentioned above. Now we’re getting another collab between the two, and Splatoon 3 is the focus.

As you can see above, those who haven’t picked up an Instax Mini Link 2 yet will now have a Splatoon 3 option to consider. This printer is priced at $120 and functions pretty much exactly as the previous versions have. Obviously, the main difference is the Splatoon 3 design of the hardware and packaging.

Along with this, the Instax Mini Link 2 app has been updated with a new InstaxAir feature, which lets users draw in the air for more customization options. Users can access this special features and more in the app for $7. Expect both the Instax Mini Link 2 and InstaxAir update to arrive in Japan sometime later this month.

Thanks to Kolma for the heads up!

I "ink" this collaboration makes perfect sense.
