Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, the action RPG ‘Sang: The Desert Blade’ is confirmed for Switch release. No word on release date has been shared at this time.

Sang: The Desert Blade is a Souls-like Action RPG, inspired by Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, where you explore, fight, overcome challenges and defeat terrifying bosses in the unforgiving world of Zemsluna.

Sang uses 4 directional combat, exactly as you remember from older games like Zelda: A Link to the Past. With methodical mechanics, your positioning and timing is much more important! A stamina system, precise hitboxes and careful attention to pacing makes the game feel more rewarding, similar to Dark Souls. Trick your enemies out and then strike, or go in head first if you’re sure you’re that much better…

Follow the story of Sang as she looks for her long lost kin. Being born a Blood Seer, she has a gift allowing her to see world ending events as well as her own demise. This gift was seen as a curse, leading to her mother fleeing far away from home with her. As she wakes up from one of her visions, she finds herself in Meziskal, a long lost town of distant dreams. She befriends the kind that inhabits this place, setting up to figure out what happened to outer world…and her kin.

Zemsluna’s inhabitants now twisted, and as husk, wander her grounds. Hostile to those that survived, they must be slayed.

The deities have grown silent… and it’s up to you to find out what happened.
