Mega Man 5 gets fan-made colorization revamp

Mega Man V came to the Game Boy all the way back in 1994. The Game Boy Color didn’t make its debut until 1998, meaning this Mega Man adventure has remained in greyscale for decades. While an official colorization may never happen, fans have stepped in to breathe some life into the title.

Modder Marc_max has spent the better part of two years adding color to Mega Man V through a ROM hack, and the results of his efforts are finally available. If you have fond memories of Mega Man V, you can now relive the game in glorious color, making it pop like never before.
