Pokemon Squishmallows to officially hit Walmart in Feb. 2023

Earlier, we shared word of the Pikachu and Gengar Squishmallows being yanked from Walmart locations. After a sellout online via the Pokémon Center website, we learned that the pillows would see a restock sometime in Spring. Turns out some Walmart locations jumped the gun and made them available in-store early. That has since been remedied, and all Walmart locations have removed the Pokémon Squishmallows from their displays.

Wondering when you can pick up the Gengar and Pikachu Squishmallows in Walmart again? The retailer has confirmed that fans will see them return sometime in February 2023. Distributor Jazwares went so far as to confirm that Walmart put the Squishmallows out too early, which is why they’ve been removed.

Again, these Squishmallows are of lower quality than what was being sold online through the Pokémon Center website. They’re still very much official Squishmallow products, but they’re a tad smaller and of lesser quality. Just something to keep in mind should you decide to purchase them.
