Check out an extended look at NieR:Automata Ver1.1a's opening theme

NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is now available on Switch, which means we can finally appreciate all things related to the series. That definitely includes the just-released anime adaptation, and you can check out another video above that showcases the series’ theme.

Two groups are handling performing duties for the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime opening and ending themes. The opening song is Aimer’s “Escalate,” while the ending theme will be “Antinomy” by Amazarashi. It’s worth mentioning that Amazarashi also worked on music for NieR;Automata in general, creating the song “Deserving of Life.”

As we shared a couple weeks ago, Aniplex of America confirmed that NieR:Automata Ver1.1a will start airing on January 7th, 2022.
