Fortnite patch brings back the Shockwave Hammer and more

Fortnite has received a bit of maintenance within the last few hours, and the downtime has resulted in a fan-favorite weapon returning and more.

Those who enjoy using the Shockwave Hammer will be happy to know that the weapon has returned after being removed a few days ago due to a glitch. This fix removes an issue with the weapon’s cooldown time, which was letting players bounce all over the map infinitely.

There have been some other tweaks and adjustments, but Epic is yet to share patch notes. When those become available, we’ll be sure to let you know. For now, hop onto your Switch and grab the latest Fortnite update, which should take less than 5 minutes to download/install.
