Wondering how the Switch held up in Japan this week? Switch titles impressively made up 8 of the top 10 best-selling software list. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet continues on with its extraordinarily exceptional sales for the eighth week in a row, placing in first on the charts yet again by selling over 64k more copies. Splatoon 3 holds strong as well, following behind in fourth with over 22k more units sold. Sandwiched between them is the PS4 and PS5 versions of One Piece Odyssey, which saw its debut this week.

As for hardware, the Switch maintained its top spot with the OLED model, selling 44,147 more units. This is followed by Sony’s PlayStation 5 in second, with the standard Switch in third (17,957), with the Switch Lite in fourth (12,586).
