Fan mod adds F.L.U.D.D. to Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey offered an insane amount of content for fans to enjoy, but as you already know, some players are eager for more. What do you do when Nintendo doesn’t add features or content through DLC? You cook up your own ideas, of course!
One fan has decided to take a retro approach to Super Mario Odyssey by reaching into Mario’s history for a power-up. As you’ll see in the trailer above, this fan-made mod adds in F.L.U.D.D. from Super Mario Sunshine, giving Mario even more abilities and movement options.
Super Mario Sunshine may be a bit of a mixed bag for some fans, but most can agree that in theory, F.L.U.D.D. is a ton of fun. While Nintendo may never bring F.L.U.D.D. back for a new adventure, at least the device can live on through mods likes this.
