Back in July of last year, Daedalic Entertainment and NACON announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum had been pushed back. At that time, no information was given on when fans could expect the title. For those who’ve been waiting, a bit of an update has arrived today.

A new financial report from publisher Nacon makes mention of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, and the game is shown as launching sometime in the first half of the company’s 2023-2024 fiscal year. That would put the game out sometime between April 1st and September 30th, 2023. Hopefully we get an even more specific date soon.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a story-driven action adventure. Take on a perilous journey as Gollum, chasing the only thing that is precious to him. Gollum is skillful and cunning, but also torn by his split personality. One mind, two egos – you decide!

That's a bit vague. The Switch version was already scheduled to come out after all the other platforms. This game has had so many delays, it was originally supposed to release in 2021.
