Risk of Rain Returns dev vlog details new survivor abilities

Gearbox Publishing and Hopoo Games recently announced Risk of Rain Returns, a remake of the original 2D multiplayer action roguelike available this year. Breathing life into the game’s classic Survivors, Hopoo has added three Alternate Survivor Abilities to each one.

In their latest Dev Thoughts, Hopoo Games broke down one alternate ability per Survivor. Fan favorites like Commando, Mercenary, and Bandit return with unique skills that mix up their kits, giving players tons of choice to find and pick the right combination for their playstyle.
