If you’re an ancient Kirby fan (like myself!), you might remember a mini-game called Egg Catcher. This fun experience was included in Kirby’s Adventure on the NES, and now it’s coming back for Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
In Egg Catcher, your goal is to gobble up all the eggs that a robotic King Dedede tosses your way. The further you get into the game, the faster the eggs are thrown. You don’t even have to move to eat them; all you have to do is hold a button to open Kirby’s mouth.
It might seem like an extremely easy game, but there are some wrinkles thrown in. Outside of dealing with the game’s speed, the robo Dedede will also randomly toss bombs out. Just in case it’s not obvious, you don’t want to eat those!
Finally, the version of Egg Catcher in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe now lets you enjoy the mini-game with 3 other friends at the same time! Instead of going up against the computer, you can compete against friends to see who’s the best egg inhaler!
