Late last month, the Pokémon Company International released the latest expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Crown Zenith. The Crown Zenith expansion features new art styles and unique illustrations with a focus on alternate art cards, including the first-ever special art Pokémon VSTAR.
Crown Zenith also introduced a Galarian Gallery subset of 70 cards spotlighting Pokémon, Pokémon V, Pokémon VMAX, Pokémon VSTAR and Supporter cards. These cards feature special illustrations that allow fans to discover the uniqueness of each Pokémon or character. Included in the Galarian Gallery are Mewtwo VSTAR, Darkrai VSTAR and Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR.
Pokémon TCG fans and collectors have really taken to Crown Zenith, moreso than any other expansion in recent memory. This has resulted in a number of cards from Crown Zenith pulling in some considerable cash on reseller markets. If you’re willing to part with a few of your cards, you could end up netting a pretty penny!
We’re not talking about making $5 bucks here, either. As it stands today, you can pull in faaaaaaaaaaaaar above what you paid for the expansion. Obviously, this can fluctuate on any given day and the market can completely fall apart next week, but for right now, there’s some money in reselling.
