RUMOR: More evidence of Baten Kaitos 1 & 2 Switch re-release surfaces

Just last month, the gang at eXputer claimed they’d seen ‘graphic evidence’ that confirms a remake of Baten Kaitos is in the works, and it’s set to arrive on Switch sometime in Summer 2023. This remake would once again involve Bandai Namco and Monolith Soft, along with Nintendo overseeing everything.

Things were pretty quiet on that rumor until today, which brings us a supposed piece of artwork promoting the release. You can hit the jump to have a look at that artwork.

The artwork looks pretty spot-on, so we either have a talented artist/faker, or a legit leak of promo art for the project. To push things one step further, the ResetEra mods have commented on this artwork, claiming it is indeed legit.

Again, it seems like we’ll be finding out about this project during today’s Nintendo Direct, so we won’t have to wait long to see if this is real or fake!
