Big jump for multiple Switch games this week
The next round of stats on UK software sales has arrived. You can check out the top 40 for the week ending Feb. 11th, 2023 below.
As usual, there are some details on the shift in game sales from week to week, and we have that breakdown for you.
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe is still at No.4, despite sales falling 10%
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons climbs seven places to No.5 after a 40% jump
- New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe leaps eight places to No.10
- Mario Strikers: Battle League Football rushes up 25 places due to a 197% sales increase
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury grows 68% and goes from No.27 to No.15
- Mario Tennis Aces re-enters the chart at No.17 (sales up 182%)
- Luigi’s Mansion 3 is at No.20 (sales up 88%)
- Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake drops from No.10 to No.34 in its second week after a 60% sales drop
Lastly, we have a rundown of the hardware sales in the UK for January 2023. While we don’t have actual numbers, we do know that PS5 took the #1 spot after a 202% climb year-over-year, while Switch came in at #2 (down 11% from January 2022) and Xbox takes 3rd (down 32% year-on-year).
