Nintendo reintroduces Spyke to Splatoon 3 players

During last week’s Nintendo Direct, we found out that Splatoon 3 is getting an Expansion Pass with two different waves. The first wave includes Inkopolis, the splat-tastic place from the original Splatoon you’ll now be able to return to. Over the past several years, Inkopolis Plaza has changed with some new shopkeepers. Of course, there’s some familiar faces hanging out as well.

In preparation for the return of Inkopolis Plaza, Nintendo is sharing profiles for some of the characters you’ll meet when you visit. Today the spotlight is on Spyke, another returning denizen from the original Splatoon.

Spyke’s not technically an employee, but he’s run some extremely successful businesses in the past. Bottom line—he can get you cool gear and buff your gear abilities.
