When Nintendo revealed Metroid Prime Remastered, they announced that digital versions would be live right away, and a physical release would be launching February 22nd, 2023. Pre-orders for the physical version went live right after the announcement, and many a customer were happy to lock theirs in.

We’re just two days away from the physical launch of Metroid Prime Remastered now, and it appears there could be some trouble for those who pre-ordered a copy. Numerous retailers have been updating customers on their purchases, and it appears there might be some delays. There are all sorts of odd dates being spit out, including ones in March and April.

Double check your pre-order and make sure things are good to go. If you are hit with a delay, you should still be able to travel to your local game retailer and pick up a copy on launch day. Fingers crossed you’re not impacted and your pre-ordered copy will arrive later this week.

My order with Amazon says April 3rd. Hopefully it comes significantly sooner than that. 😎
