Citizen Sleeper reaches 500k players

Citizen Sleeper came to Switch in May of 2022, and it was instantly hit with praise from both critics and players alike. The game managed to amass a bunch of year-end awards as well, including some Game of the Year noms/wins. It seems all that positive buzz has helped the title reach a fantastic milestone.

According to the Citizen Sleeper Twitter account, the game has now reached 500k players worldwide across all platforms. There’s a reason why the team announced 500k players rather than units sold, as the game was up for grabs on Game Pass, and as you know, those players aren’t actually purchasing the game.
