Today Studio Wildcard, along with development partner Grove Street Games, announced the first major content update for ARK: Dinosaur Discovery! Currently exclusive to Switch, this kid-friendly, dino-fact-filled adventure now includes a new map, teleport abilities, and a whistle feature to call on-demand a favorite tamed creature! ARK: Dinosaur Discovery is available for $9.99 on the Nintendo eShop and players who purchase ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition will be able to download it for free.

Designed for younger players with simplified controls that can be played with a single Joy-Con, ARK: Dinosaur Discovery allows kids to explore the ARK island without violence, unlock illustrated Dino Books narrated by the voice of HLN-A (Madeleine Madden) and learn about the fascinating prehistoric creatures that inspired ARK: Survival Evolved.
