Digimon World: Next Order's EU version getting Japanese audio update

Late last month, we mentioned that Digimon World: Next Order on Switch was lacking dual audio. While the Steam or PS4 versions of the games included English and Japanese voiceover, the Switch release only allows for English. Thankfully, that’s about to change for those who own the European copy.

The official Digimon Games Twitter account has confirmed that the European version of Digimon World: Next Order will get an update to add back in Japanese voiceover. There’s no word on when to expect this patch, but we’ll certainly keep an eye out for details.

As for a similar update for the North American version of Digimon World: Next Order, there hasn’t been any word shared on that. It seems likely the same patch will head our way, so hopefully we get a confirmation soon.
