Fisher-Price has an entire ‘Laugh and Learn’ series of toys that are meant to not only be fun, but also teach babies letters, numbers and more. In that Laugh and Learn lineup is the ‘Game and Learn’ controller, which is a cutesy take on a game controller. This controller doesn’t have any actual connection to gaming or game hardware, but of course, modders have taken that as a challenge.

Software Engineer and modder Robert Dale Smith was tired of the Fischer-Price Game and Learn controller not offering any game support, so he took it upon himself to make the controller Switch-compatible. While it’s wired and not wireless, as you can see in the video above, the controller does actually function on a Switch now!

Of course, it’s not going to be the best controller to use to get some gaming in, nor will it be the most comfortable, but it’s definitely one heck of a conversation starter! If you’ve got a friend who’s particular rough on controllers or you’re just really hurting for a controller in your next Mario Party session, this would be a pretty funny route to take!
