Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection release date 'fast approaching,' says Square Enix
Waiting on the Final word
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection was announced for Switch back in December of last year, and at that time, Square Enix didn’t have a definitive release date. The shop listings pegged the game for a May 31st, 2023 release, but that’s only a placeholder. Apparently, we’ll be finding out the official release date in the near future.
Square Enix has shared a slight update on Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection, as pre-orders for the title are now open. According to Square Enix, they’re not quite ready to reveal the launch date yet, but they can say that “it’s fast approaching.”
While May 31st, 2023 has been a placeholder, hopefully the official date falls somewhere around that timeframe. Whenever Square Enix announces the official release date, we’ll make sure to bring it to you.

2M agoI'd like a physical copy, but not one that costs $100. Square needs to not put up pre-orders on random Saturday nights.

The Asian version of the game is up for pre-order on PlayAsia for $79.99. It includes English. They sometimes have a free shipping promotion when you spend a certain amount of money.
You can probably get 5% off if you know a discount code from a affiliate account like SwitchWatch or Nintendeal.
