Miyamoto says 'stay tuned for Nintendo Directs' when asked about a new Mario game

Wondering when we’re going to hear about the next brand-new Mario game? Miyamoto isn’t willing to share specifics, but he did give a tease that’s in line with what everyone could have guessed.

Variety spoke to Shigeru Miyamoto about the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie, but they ended the interview with a question about when we would here about the next Mario game. Miyamoto offered up a quick response that you can see below.

That response was followed by a giggle from Miyamoto, as he obviously knows people want more, but he’s not about to out plans for Nintendo’s mascot.
