Hurry up and check it out!
Pokémon Co. continues their efforts to beautify towns and attract tourists with their Pokémon Local Acts initiative, and back in December of last year, the company revealed plans for their next attraction.
Last year, Japan’s Fukushima prefecture welcomed Chansey Park, and now those in Japan’s Kagawa prefecture can check out Slowpoke Park! As you might have guessed, the park is littered with Slowpoke-themed attractions for kids to check out, but that’s not all there is to discover.
Pokémon GO Trainers who visit Slowpoke Park will have a higher chance to encounter Slowpoke, and there are also special opportunities to take AR pictures of Slowpoke using GO Snapshot. Last but not least, attractions in the park will be marked as Poke Stops in Pokemon GO.
If you’d like to see more pictures of Slowpoke Park along with photos from the opening day, you can find a gallery here.
