"Peaches" from the Super Mario Bros. Movie hits the Billboard Hot 100

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been killing it at the box office, and it’s nearing a $1 billion cume. Turns out that’s not the only place Mario and the gang are raking in success.

The latest Billboard Hot 100 charts have been released, and believe it or not, a tune from the Super Mario Bros. Movie has made the list. The song Peaches, performed by Jack Black as Bowser, has delighted movie-goers for a couple of weeks now, and apparently those same people need a fix outside of the theater as well.

The Billboard Hot 100 shows that Peaches has made its debut at spot #83 overall. This is actually a major moment for Black, as it marks his first solo appearance on the Hot 100. The only other time Jack Black has been a part of the Hot 100 charts was with “The Pick of Destiny” in 2006 as a member of Tenacious D. That tune reached #78 at its peak.
