Celebrate Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk with a Pokémon GO Limited Research Day

Don’t be shocked, someone’s arriving to steel the show. This isn’t a trap—Niantic is excited to announce a new Limited Research Day featuring Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk! In addition, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Stunfisk—if you’re lucky! Head out and collect those Field Research tasks and see how many Stunfisk you can encounter!
The Stunfisk Limited Research Day takes place Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, and you can get full details below.
Limited Field Research tasks will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. Complete them to encounter either Stunfisk or Galarian Stunfisk!

You’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Stunfisk and Shiny Galarian Stunfisk.
