A sequel to TAITO Milestones, a collection of classic Taito-developed games, was announced for Switch just one week back. At that time, we learned that TAITO Milestones 2 would include Ben Bero Beh, Dino Rex, Gun Frontier, KiKi KaiKai, Liquid Kids, Metal Black, The Legend of Kage, The NewZealand Story, and more. Today brings us the reveal of another title included in the package.

We now know that the 1991-released arcade fighting game Solitary Fighter will be featured in TAITO Milestones 2. The specifics on extra gameplay features have not been shared, but expect more information in the near future.

TAITO Milestones 2 will be released in Japan sometime in August 2023 for ¥5,720 yen. No localization has been announced at this time.

Bit weird that they'd do the sequel but it's really more of an upgrade so it's probably the better bet.
