Level-5 revealed Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was revealed for Switch back in February, and it’s going to release sometime this year. Ahead of the game’s arrival, an interesting tidbit about the development team has been discovered.
The most recent issue of Famitsu includes an interview with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino. In that interview, it’s revealed that former Capcom dev Keiji Inafune will be producing Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time for Level-5. Here’s what Hino had to say about Inafune’s involvement, as translated by NintendoEverything.
Inafune has the ability to bring people together and I knew with a strong and dedicated creative team at his disposal, I could entrust him to make a completely new Fantasy Life title. And that game became something truly special. Inafune created not only a new crafting system for us to play with, but even went as far as to create a whole new life, too!
