PlatinumGames has shared another developer blog for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and this one goes into detail on the game’s logo.

Yuka Akiyama is one of the UI Designers on Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, and they handled logos and fonts, the HUD, the overall design, the loading and splash screens, and other UI hand-drawn animations. This means they’re the perfect person to pen the blog for the game’s logo!

As you see at the top of this post, the logos in both Japan and English retain a similar visual style. According to Akiyama, the team tried to eliminate as much discrepancy between the logos as possible, aiming to maintain the same general outline in the design.

If you’d like to learn more about the work that went into the game’s logo, including the unique font, you can find the complete breakdown here.
