Mod brings together Halo and Mario Kart for an interesting mix

Halo…one of the most well-known first person shooter franchises out there. Mario Kart…the go-to series for kart racing action. Two franchises that don’t seem like they’d go well together in any regard, but a new fan mod has proven quite the opposite.

Cursed Halo Again is the product of the Halo PC modding scene, and they’ve taken some of the vehicles and combat of Halo and crammed them together with famous tracks and mechanics from the Mario Kart series. As you’ll see in the video above, the end result looks absolutely ridiculously and incredibly fun.

There’s no doubt a kart racer with these kind of mechanics would be a blast, so hopefully someone takes the idea and runs with it. For now, we just have to cross our fingers and hope that neither Microsoft or Nintendo swoop in to shut this fan project down.
