Just a few weeks back, we learned that Legendary would be teaming up with Capcom to work on Street Fighter projects, including TV and silver screen adaptations. When it comes to the movie side of things, it seems a deal is set to be struck when it comes to directors.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Danny and Michael Philippou are in final negotiations to direct a Street Fighter live-action movie. This duo is known for most recently creating the horror movie Talk to Me.

Absolutely no details have been shared on the Street Fighter movie, and it’ll likely be a number of years before we see anything of the project. That said, this is an important first step in getting the film’s production officially up-and-running.

I can't believe they're trying AGAIN. Capcom has important lessons to learn about letting people adapt their stuff, and I don't know if they've learned yet.
