Zelda fever is hitting the UK, and it appears the only cure is purchasing the Switch!

Data on Switch sales in the UK have come in, and things have picked up in considerable fashion. Switch hardware sales were up a whopping 26% compared to the month before, and this is largely thanks to the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED that launched at the tail-end of the month.

In the UK, the Switch is now tracking down by just 15% year-over-year. This is an improvement as we move deeper into the year, and with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launching in just over a week, it seems like hardware will continue to see a noticeable boost. Does Link have what it takes to overcome 2022’s tally?

I feel like you can also attribute it partially to the Super Mario Movie since it probably brought in more interest for those who didn’t have a Switch.
